Admission

ADMISSION RULES

1. Admission test (written) will be conducted for admission to a class.

2. If in admission test to a particular class, a candidate is found unsuitable, he/she shall not be entitled for admission. However, he/she can take admission in lower class automatically without an admission test.

3. A student who fails once in the annual examination may be admitted to the same class in the next session of the same or of any other Army School. Student who fails twice in the annual examination shall not be admitted even in special cases.

4. The candidates should complete the age of 6 years on 31st March of the year for admission to class I. The age for admission to other classes will be regulated accordingly.

5. Proof of Age:

(a) In case of Defence Personnel, photocopy of the Part II order duly attested as a conclusive proof for age their children.

(b) Birth Certificate issued by Millitary/Civil Hospitals as well as by Municipalities/Village Panchayats will also be accepted for other children.

6. Change in the Date of Birth: Once recorded in the School Scholar Register, change in the date of birth will not be accepted.

7. The Principal’s decision on admission will be final. The Management has the right to cancel the admission at any time.

8. Requirement of Documents for Admission:

   Following documents are required at the time of admission:

  1. Transfer Certificate (TC) - Original
  2. Report Card (Marksheet) - Photocopy
  3. PEN (Permanent Education Number) of Student and UDISE Code of School from previous school
  4. Aadhaar Card of Child, Father & Mother & Email
  5. Photo of child - 02 copies
  6. Residential Address proof (Permanent / Local)
  7. Serving Cert (Original) / Discharge Book (Photocopy)
  8. Caste Cert (जाति प्रमाण पत्र) for OBC, SC/ST (Photocopy)
  9. Registration in original (1 set) duly signed by the Principal for IXth to XIth class's admission only if registered by previous school.
  10. LOC, Marksheet & TC in duplicate (2 set) duly Signed & Attested by the Principal for 10th to 12th class's admission only. Movement order is must.

 

SCHOOL EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION RULES

1. Examination and tests enable parents to know the progress of their wards and pay due attention to their studies at home.

2 There will be two examinations of students to register their progress; Half Yearly and Annual.

3. Besides terminal examination, monthly tests and unit tests will also be conducted to assess the progress of studies.

4 The pass marks of each subject will be 33 out of 100

5. Students, whose attendance is below 75% of working day will not be eligible to sit for annual examination.

6. A student who fails to appear in the annual examination ever though he/she had secured sufficient marks in periodic tests and half-early examination, will be deemed to have failed in the annual examination, and shall not be promoted to the next higher class.

7. Students of Classes IX & XI will have to clear all the papers. If a student fails to clear any paper, then he/she will have to appear for Re-annual examination for promotion to the next class. If the student is unable to clear the Re-annual examination also, then he/she will be detained.

8. Directorate of Education has removed the ‘No-Detention Policy’ for Classes V & VIII from the academic session 2024-25. According to the new rule under the 2022 promotion policy, the students of Classes V & VIII must score 25% marks in the mid-term exams and 33% in the annual exam to get promoted to the next class. The students who fail to pass can take a re-exam. Those who can’t score 25% in the re-exam too will be held back in the same class. The students of all other classes will still come under the ‘no-detention policy’.

9. A student who attempts use of unfair means at an examination will be debarred from rest of the paper and will be liable for strict disciplinary action.

10. A student who fails twice in same class will be asked to leave the school.

9. Answer books of Annual Examination will not be shown. The results declared will be final and will not be subject to reconsideration.
